Using Bentley Context Capture, state of the art 3D mesh software we are able to extract full 3D models from multi-angle aerial imagery. We can collect oblique imagery at up to 2cm resolution, enabling the extraction of highly accurate 3D models. We have been using this technology for various applications: urban development monitoring, volume measurements for pits and quarries, site supervision and more.
Below is an interactive 3D model example of a quarry collected on the Island of Oahu. Please zoom in and then use the left and right mouse buttons to move around in 3D space to evaluate the model. This is a large project so please give the site time to upload the full resolution imagery. By using the menu in the top right corner you can also change the viewing and access a measurement tool for both horizontal and vertical measurements.
